Las Vegas, January 7, 2026 — Chimera Tech S.r.l., an Italian innovative startup, is showcasing SmartSailor at CES® 2026 in Las Vegas, the world’s most influential technology event, taking place from January 6 to 9. The project is exhibited at Eureka Park, within the Venetian Expo, as part of the official Italian delegation led by the Italian Trade Agency (ICE).
This marks the third international presentation for SmartSailor, following its debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival and the Genoa International Boat Show in 2025. At CES 2026, Chimera Tech introduces a strategic evolution of the platform: for the first time, access to the SmartSailor web portal is open to all boat owners, independently from onboard hardware installation.
By registering for free, users can activate the Smart Logbook, a professional digital tool designed to centralize documentation, manage insurance and safety deadlines, and plan maintenance activities through a single dashboard. This approach allows boat owners to experience structured and digital vessel management, with the option to later integrate the SmartBox hardware for real-time monitoring, telemetry and predictive analytics.
“Our presence at CES, following a rigorous international selection, confirms the technological value of the project and represents an opportunity to deliver a clear message: innovation must be accessible. With SmartSailor, we start from order and planning and move toward predictive prevention and smarter boating,” says Marco Chimenti, CEO of Chimera Tech.
SmartSailor is exhibited at the Venetian Expo, Hall G — Eureka Park, Booth 61001 (Italy Pavilion).
